Story of Guntur Kaaram

Ramana (Mahesh) has grown apart from his mother Vyra Vasundhara (Ramya) for most of his life. Depending on who you ask, the boy who was once mommy’s boy is now known as either Guntur Kaaram or Rowdy Ramana. He gets enough of love from his father, Royal Satyam (Jayaram), uncle, aunt, and cousin (Raghubabu, Eswari Rao, Meenakshi).

It’s not that he lacks love. However, he still yearns for his mother’s love—the one person from whom he is separated. His mother and stepbrother, Rahul Ravindran, have taken over the family business, with his grandfather, Venkataswamy (Prakash), being a well-known politician. But what occurs when Ramana’s estranged family persistently begs him for political advantage?

A Familiar Recipe:

The plot of “Guntur Kaaram” treads well-worn paths. Gautham (Mahesh Babu), a carefree youngster with a talent for cooking, returns to his ancestral village after his father’s passing. There, he reconnects with his childhood sweetheart, Siddhi (Krithi Shetty), and faces off against the villainous Veeranna (Sunil).

Hit-and-Miss Masala:

The film attempts to blend humor, romance, and action into a spicy masala mix. Trivikram’s trademark witty dialogues provide occasional chuckles, but the humor often feels uneven and forced. The romantic track between Gautham and Siddhi sparks with sweetness, but lacks depth and suffers from underdeveloped chemistry. The action sequences, though well-choreographed, fail to ignite genuine thrills due to the predictable narrative.
