The International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a photo of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with the ODI World Cup trophy on Wednesday. The photo quickly went viral, with fans expressing their excitement for the upcoming World Cup.
Khan is a well-known cricket fan and has been seen supporting the Indian cricket team on numerous occasions. He is also the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 2023 ODI World Cup will be held in India from October 5 to November 19. It will be the first time that India will be hosting the tournament on its own soil. The tournament will feature 10 teams, including the defending champions, England.
The ICC Trophy Tour began in May and will conclude on September 4. The tour has taken the trophy to 10 countries, including England, Australia, and the United States.

In a statement, ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice said, “The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour is an important milestone in the countdown to what will be the biggest ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup ever.”
“This Tour will see the iconic silverware meet heads of states, launch community initiatives and support cricket development programmes in addition to visiting some of the most iconic landmarks around the globe.”
The 2023 ODI World Cup is sure to be a major event, and Shah Rukh Khan’s photo with the trophy has only added to the excitement.
