The calendar for the assembly elections in five states—Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram—was released by the Election Commission of India (ECI) today. The statement included information on the dates for all five states’ nomination filing, election days, and result declaration. An observer meeting was convened by the Election Commission on Friday to draft a plan for a peaceful election. To guarantee the Model Code of Conduct is implemented. That money does not impact the fair playing field, the police, general, and expenditure observers of EC convened to simplify their plan.

Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana will go to polls in a single phase, while Chhattisgarh will vote in two phases. Mizoram will also go to polls in a single phase.

Chhattisgarh will hold two rounds of voting, on November 7 and November 17. On November 17, Madhya Pradesh will hold a single-phase election that coincides with Chhattisgarh’s second-phase vote.

Elections in Rajasthan and Telangana will take place on November 23 and November 30, respectively, in a single phase. On November 17, Madhya Pradesh will hold legislative elections. Mizoram’s legislative elections are scheduled for November 7.

At a news conference, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar stated that over 16 crore voters would be eligible to participate in these elections and that significant efforts are being made to provide an environment free from inducements.
