Bihar Journalist Vimal Yadav Shot Dead at Home, 4 Arrested

The Bihar Police have arrested four people in connection with the murder of journalist Vimal Yadav, who was shot dead at his home in Raniganj, Araria district, on Friday.

The four arrested men have been identified as Vipin Yadav, Bhavesh Yadav, Ashish Yadav, and Umesh Yadav. Two other accused, Rupesh Yadav and Kranti Yadav, are already in jail in connection with the murder of Vimal’s brother, who was killed in 2019. Two other accused are still absconding.

Vimal Yadav was a journalist with the Dainik Jagran newspaper. He was shot dead by four men who knocked on his door and called his name at around 5:30 am on Friday. The police said that the murder was an act of revenge, as Vimal was the sole witness to the murder of his brother in 2019.

What Occurred
