King was first to go, trapped lbw for 28. The ball pitched on a flatter trajectory and slid on straight, hitting King in front of the stumps. King reviewed the decision, but replays showed that the ball was indeed hitting the stumps.

Mayers then followed in Mayers’s footsteps, also lbw for just 1. The ball was too full on the stumps and Mayers missed the sweep, getting struck in front of off-stump.

Arshdeep Singh bowled two excellent deliveries in the 18th over to dismiss Rovman Powell and Shimron Hetmyer. The wickets of Powell and Hetmyer restricted West Indies to 149 for 6, which was a below-par total on a slow pitch.

West Indies made a slow start to their innings, but Rovman Powell’s late assault helped them to post a below-par total of 149 for 6. India’s bowlers bowled well in the second half of the innings, and they were able to restrict West Indies to a below-par total.
